Russell is a member of the Distribution team, based in New York and covering North American investors. He has 20 years of experience in financial markets and capital raising.

Russell joined Threadmark from Houlihan Lokey, where he was a Director of the Primary Funds Group. Prior to this, he served as a Managing Director at FocusPoint, where he led primary fundraising efforts with US and Canadian institutional investors. Russell also held a Director role at Sandell Asset Management within their Hedge Fund Marketing and Investor Relations team. He began his career supporting the venture capital services team at the Bank of America, in San Francisco.

Russell holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Colorado and pursued graduate studies in Economic History and Politics at the University of Edinburgh.
